The Sandalwood Television Awards – STA the brainwork of Ten on Tenz Media has announced the small screen awards categories for 40 different categories that will be selected by a jury with public choice also coming to it.
The small screen is no doubt a big industry. There are varieties of programs for at least six hours in a day for audience at home. The Sandalwood Telly Awards is first of its kind will be selected from July 2009 and July 2010 telecast in different channels.
Through Sandalwood Tellu Awards, we aim at taking the Kannada television industry to higher global scale said R Britto, Director Operations of Ten on Tenz. The Ten on Tenz is handled by Mrs De Costa and Ms Sabina. STA was pioneered by these two ladies who have been efficiently working on this project for a long time, Together they have to their credit various events in Chennai and Bangalore. Ms Suma heads the Dhaaksha Events is also supporting this valuable event.
